Oyate Radio is operated by BrightLaunch Digital Marketing, LLC, a veteran owned and minority owned company based in Rapid City, South Dakota. By using oyateradio.com, listening to the stream, or signing up for our email or text messages, you agree to these terms.
Text message terms
How you opt in
On the signup form at oyateradio.com you enter your email address. Giving us a mobile number is optional and separate. To receive text messages you must check the box labeled "Text me too" and enter a mobile number. We do not send text messages to anyone who has not checked that box.
We do not buy phone numbers, we do not accept them from other companies, and we do not text anyone who did not personally give us their number on this website.
What we send
Station announcements from Oyate Radio. Launch news, schedule changes, community bulletins, and emergency or weather alerts affecting the Rapid City area. Message frequency varies. We expect it to be infrequent.
How you opt out
Reply STOP to any message from us to stop receiving text messages. You may also reply UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT. Opt-out works through the same phone number the messages are sent from. You will receive one message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and then no further messages.
Reply HELP to any message for help, or email hello@oyateradio.com. If you opt out and later want messages again, you can sign up again on the website.
Costs and delivery
- Message and data rates may apply. Those charges come from your mobile carrier, not from us.
- Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Delivery depends on your carrier and your coverage. We cannot guarantee that every message arrives.
- Supported carriers may change without notice.
Your number
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. Full detail is in our Privacy Policy.
If your mobile number changes, or you give up a number that you gave us, please let us know so that we do not text someone who did not ask to hear from us.
Signing up with your email address means we will email you about Oyate Radio. We use confirmed opt-in, so you will get one message asking you to confirm before you are added to the list. If you never confirm, you are never added and you hear nothing further. Every announcement email we send after that includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately.
Listening to the stream
The stream is provided for personal listening. You may not rebroadcast, retransmit, or redistribute it, publicly perform it as part of another service, or use it commercially, without our written permission.
We do our best to keep the station on the air, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. We may change or suspend programming, and we may take the stream offline for maintenance or for any other reason.
What Oyate Radio is
Oyate Radio is an internet only radio station. It does not hold a Federal Communications Commission broadcast license, and it has no call sign and no frequency. It is a property of BrightLaunch Digital Marketing, LLC, a for profit company. It is not a nonprofit organization, and payments or contributions to it are not tax deductible.
Accuracy
Community bulletins, event notices, and alerts are published in good faith from information given to us. We are not the original source of that information and cannot guarantee it. For emergencies, follow the instructions of local authorities rather than anything you heard on this station.
Your content
If you send us a message, a request, a dedication, or a community notice, you give us permission to read it on the air, publish it, and edit it for length and clarity. Do not send us anything you would not want made public. Separate written agreements cover program hosts, guests, and artists.
Liability
The website and the stream are provided as they are, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, BrightLaunch Digital Marketing, LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the website, the stream, or our messages.
Changes
We may update these terms. If we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. If a change materially affects the messages you signed up for, we will tell the people on the list directly.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Dakota.
